Last night there was an alien in our basement. There's no other words to explain the creature that was crawling along the wall. We just stared at it for a few seconds before moving closer. It was over an inch long, with tons of long legs and antennae even longer. It attempted to crawl on the ceiling and fell to the ground, where Lee attacked it with a shoe.
I just wiki-ed it, and I believe it was actually a house centipede, which look more like flat roach/spider than a worm with legs. Below is a picture I found on wikipedia. But last night, it was an alien. Eek. I'm all creepy-crawly, just thinking about it.
